Barry D. Berson, M.D.

Dr. Barry Berson received his BA from Cornell University and his MD from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine. He completed his radiology residency at Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was Chief Resident, and completed his fellowship training at NYU.

Dr. Berson is board certified by the American Board of Radiology.  He is a member of the Metropolitan Breast Cancer Group, the American Roentgen Ray Society, the Radiologic Society of North America, and the Society of Breast Imaging.

Dr. Berson holds the position of Clinical Instructor of radiology at Mount Sinai Hospital. He has been included in New York Magazine’s Top Doctors, Castle Connolly Top Doctors, New York Metro Area’s Top Doctors, Newsday Top Doctors, and Patients Choice Award.

New York Medical Imaging is designated by the American College of Radiology as a Breast Center of Excellence.
